Self-Service Customer Portal and COI Generation Reach New Milestone

Mercury Self-Service Customer Portal and On-Demand Certificates of Insurance Reach New Adoption Milestone

Quick Silver Systems, Inc. announced that the Mercury Platform's self-service customer portal and on-demand certificate of insurance (COI) generation continue to expand across its client base, reducing routine call volume for agents and carriers.

The Mercury customer portal gives policyholders a single place to view active policies, review documents, make payments, and submit claim notices. For commercial insureds who frequently need COIs for landlords, lenders, and project sites, the portal can generate certificates directly against the issued policy, apply the correct holder language, and deliver the document to the requester.

COI self-service is a recurring request from the commercial lines clients that run Mercury, and the feature is included with the core platform — not a separate module. The same portal framework supports insured payments, policy document downloads, endorsement requests, and FNOL submission.

"The goal is simple: every routine request an insured makes should be handled in the portal in under a minute, any hour of the day," said Sean Pitcher, CEO of Quick Silver Systems. "That frees our clients' service teams to work on the things that actually need a human."
