Quick Silver Systems Announces General Availability of Multi-Carrier Quoting for MGAs on the Mercury Platform
Quick Silver Systems, Inc. announced today that Multi-Carrier Quoting is now generally available to Managing General Agent clients running the Mercury Policy and Claims Administration System. The capability lets MGAs quote, compare, and bind policies across multiple participating carriers from a single workflow inside Mercury.
The multi-carrier workflow is designed for MGAs that place business with more than one underwriting partner. Rather than rekeying the same submission into each carrier portal, producers enter risk information once and Mercury returns side-by-side quotes from connected carriers. The bind action hands off to the selected carrier's policy system through Mercury's API layer.
The feature builds on capabilities the Mercury team has been rolling out since 2024, including real-time rating, carrier appetite filtering, and the platform's API-first integration layer. Participating carriers must be connected through Mercury's standard API contract; Quick Silver Systems works directly with MGAs to scope carrier onboarding during implementation.
