The space between Christmas and New Year is rare. Use it intentionally.
First: What did I avoid in 2025 that I knew I should have addressed? Avoidance is usually a sign that something matters and is difficult. That combination deserves your attention in 2026, not your procrastination.
Second: Which relationships did I underinvest in? Organizational performance is a function of trust, and trust is built in small, consistent interactions. If a key relationship atrophied this year, the reset starts with one conversation.
Third: What assumption am I carrying into 2026 that might be wrong? Markets shift, technologies mature, and customer expectations evolve faster than most planning cycles account for. Name your biggest assumption and pressure-test it before Q1.
Honest self-assessment is the starting point for meaningful leadership growth. Three questions, answered seriously, can change the trajectory of your year.
