13 Hours, One 6-Year-Old, and a Whole Lot of Creative Problem-Solving
Traveling with a 6-year-old on a 13-hour flight is always an adventure that tests your patience, creativity, and sanity all at once.
Between the snacks, entertainment devices, coloring books, and constant "are we there yet?" questions, you quickly learn that preparation is everything and flexibility is your best friend.
There's something both exhausting and amazing about watching their wonder at being above the clouds mixed with their ability to never forget that once we are there we will do x and x must be asked about every 15 minutes or it might not happen at all.
By hour 10, I was questioning all life choices, but somehow we made it through with new stories that will last a lifetime.
